Morning Check In: yesterday we worked in the garage sorting, organizing and getting rid of stuff! We had not planned on this, but sometimes flexibility happens: we went out for burritos for lunch and a wee break with the plan that this would be our only meal for the day. I skipped the beans and the rice, but the tortilla was flour so I got a bit of a blood sugar bump from it, but not bad. I love seeing that my body has developed so much more tolerance to the occasional starch hit! I do see that the baseline went down after eating, indicating likely some hepatic insulin resistance, but it stayed down and is still down, so perhaps that has cleared up! The prolonged fast after lunch into today is helping with that, no doubt. Today two meals, protein for lunch. No sugar/no starch!
