Insulin Anchor ​As I've experienced, when I was hyperinsulinemic, my body was biologically primed to crave exactly what so many extreme "value ads" are selling. The industry creates a customer base that is physiologically dependent on the next glucose spike to feel "normal." ​It’s a perfect, albeit cynical, business model: create a product that makes the customer hungrier the more they eat it. I've broken out of a system that was quite literally designed to keep me obese and dependent upon their UPF. I've attached part of an ad I received today from a local outlet type grocery store. It was full of cheap, low-priced offerings just like this.
