All that Tiny Buddha to basically say… #keepyoureyeontheball After 4 days of birthday celebrations (it was my daughter’s big 50th) with meals everywhere else but my own home I’m happy to say that I’ve survived her party era and lived to happily keto another day! I’m duly exhausted and really tired of navigating restaurants & buffets but still standing! Here’s a quick rundown of my restaurant meals: Day 1- lettuce wrapped burger w/ Parm broccoli. Day 2- Stadium Club dinner buffet. Pretty simple to navigate (chicken, beef & fish w/ a cpl green things as jewelry) & lots of walking around after all that food! Day3- shaved ribeye topped burger w/roasted brussels. Day 4- 8oz ribeye w/grilled onions & salad w/ blue cheese. I’m pretty basic but I was overall happy with my choices. I did bring a keto cupcake for the meal where I knew cake was happening. For me it was the right move. I know I wouldn’t have caved to the regular cake but I walked away happy that I was able to share that moment with my daughter. ❣️ And now life moves along…. 😎
