NSV Saturday! Today I was thinking about some of the practical benefits I've regained from losing weight to date. The metabolic improvements are the one's I most often focus on, which are in and of themselves awesome. However, sometimes it's the small practical things that really stand out as well and provide encouragement along the way. I've listed here several things off the top of my head. 1. Being able to bend over while sitting and tie my shoes easily now. 2. Lift my legs up while seated and cross one leg over the other to put my socks on without struggling like I’m pulling up a tree branch. 3. Wipe my backside easily after a bowel movement. 4. Fit into smaller clothes.  5. Put my pants on while standing up, balancing on one leg. 6. Enjoy plenty of shoulder, hip, and stomach space in my car seat. 7. Step in and out of my bathtub/shower without leaning on the ledge or wall for fear I will fall. I have others as well, but these 7 are sufficient for now 😁
