I decided to take a break from the pool walking routine for now, the chlorine is really drying my old man skin up a little too much for my liking. I'm still doing the sauna though. This morning I did 3 twenty minute sessions, with a 5 minute cool down and hydration in between. This afternoon was my weight lifting day and 5 miles on the stationary bike. I was reaching and sustaining 88% of my maximum HR. Just blows my mind how much progress this old man is making. In lieu of pool walking, I plan to substitute with extra days on the bike.
