Morning Check In: yesterday was a very odd blood sugar day! It was up and down in a spiky pattern all day for no discernable reason, except perhaps sleep deprivation and stress, both of which went periodically all day. I guess before blaming a glitch in the CGM, I’ll blame it on that. Stress and sleep ARE very powerful influencers on blood sugar behavior! I did finally manage to master the “egg wrap” recipe, and did successfully make a great quesadilla for lunch. I’m going to try it again today with more herbs. The usual two meals today. No sugar/no starch. Going to the gym this morning! And a bike ride later. The extra pounds I’ve been trying to lose are finally moving, which is great! 8 pounds down. 28 to go. Keeping blood sugar down, which will also keep insulin down, is the absolute most important tool for weight loss! But it has also helped to pay attention to the fat intake. Lowering it is what started to move the needle for me.
