I’ve posted before about my mobility and other physical issues, movement is really hard for me as I’ve had injuries and surgeries and lack of exercise leaving my lower body quite pathetic. That said. I woke up at 4 this morning from a dream that rollerblading would help my issues. I went to the attic and grabbed my rollerblades from high school and when the sun broke I rollerbladed around my neighborhood. Haven’t rollerbladed in 20 years! I used to be a VERY avid rollerblader. It was honestly terrifying but after a little while I started to get the hang of it. I almost fell several times. In my head I was chanting “relax and trust your body” and I was able to get lower and stabilize myself. I can tell from the video I am of course favoring my good leg but hopefully with practice I can strengthen my right leg. My right knee did not bother me at all during or after. It basically hurts all the time :) The rollerblades themselves are actually too small, so it looks like I’ll have to go shopping :) Video for proof lol
