Morning Check In: yesterday went well! I did have a bit of a blood sugar spike with lunch - it was those cut vegies again! I thought if I ate them after the protein it would help, but it didn’t. I had strong urges for sugar yesterday, but I held onto my goal of not eating any. I ate a bit too much cheese, though. On the plus side, a spike that low and for that short of a time will not glycosalate cells, so no harm done. Today two meals. Protein for lunch! Shrimp for dinner and it will include heirloom black rice, so there will be some starch, but I’ve found that that particular rice has the starch so encased in fiber that apparently I extract very little of it based on past experiments. We will see if that holds true today! Going to the gym this morning.
