Morning Check In: yesterday went well! Hubby and I are both fast eaters. When we eat with my MIL, I tend to serve myself seconds just to have something to do rather than sit there awkwardly in front of my empty plate while my MIL, a VERY slow eater, has half her dinner left to eat. Last night I tried something Diane recommended: serve myself half of what I plan to eat, and then go back for “seconds” which is actually the second half. Last night we had enchiladas and I served myself just one, planning on going back for a second one. I didn’t!!! After finishing the one, I sat for a while. Then I realized I was actually nicely full. Wow!!! That was amazing! Today 1.5 meals. 18 hour fast. Protein for lunch! No sugar/no starch. Going to the gym today! And walking the doggy.
