Morning Check In: I’m feeling both good and bad about yesterday! It was a spontaneously different day than expected and that disrupted food plans. I am feeling good that although faced with SO many food temptations, I stuck with “no sugar and no starch” and kept blood sugar looking good. I am feeling bad because I ate WAY too much food during the day, including lots of snacking, and culminating with a restaurant dinner that was HUGE and I ate the whole thing (a burrito bowl - all metabolically friendly foods but much too much of it). I went to bed feeling stuffed. I still feel stuffed this morning. I slept badly because I was too full. Ugh! I let myself down. Today will be different! Protein for lunch - maybe no lunch, if I’m still not hungry! No sugar/no starch dinner, and keep fat lower during the day. Aerobic housecleaning and dog walking today!
