More practical Sunday personal observations and experience from my 28 week journey. Research consistently shows that every 1 lb lost reduces about 4 lbs of pressure/load on the knees per step during daily activity. This morning, I have lost 113 lbs in almost 28 full weeks. Thus reducing the force on my knees by 452 lbs! I ditched my cane on January 30th which I had been using since a knee injury I suffered in January of last year!
