DATA FIENDS, here is my conundrum. Mostly before this week my reading have been 94 to 121, but that changed with my latest CGM applied on Tuesday. Since the new monitor my range has dropped lower into the 80 to 101 range, and thats all fine but Im wondering about the low dips at night into the low 50s. I was woken up a couple of times last night as well as 2 more while reading when my CGM dipped low enough that it tripped the alarm for very low readings ( I have the low reading warning turned off, the alarm for the tier of readings below that cant be turned off) which has never happened before. Now Dr Tro has mentioned something like a possible variance on the meters, so if i add back 20 points im not concerned and felt fine. But im intrigued by why im getting the sharp drops and quick recoveries? Any ideas? I wasn't laying on the meter, could I have placed this meter too close to a muscle group and that be causing irregularities? Anyway 4 or 5 quick drops last night into the 53-54 range and then jumped back up into the 80s or 90s quickly... just a new occurrence that has me a tad mystified.
