Anyone else notice the glaring contradiction in the new dietary guidelines? We're being encouraged to eat whole foods, which includes red meat as displayed at the very top left-hand side of the inverted pyramid. YET it's being recommended that we limit and cap our daily intake of saturated fat to 10% of our recommended daily caloric intake. Which is about 22 g a day. This seems completely contradictory to me. Anyone else?
