Let’s talk BBQ sauce! I posted some of this information earlier in a reply on the Food & Recipes message board but decided to add it here because a clean tasty BBQ sauce for many of us can make a difference in our tastebud happiness! About 6 months ago I found this SF Pitmaster LT through a FB page (Will & Goody- Our Smart Carb Life) that I follow for a family with a T1 diabetic son and how they help manage his diabetes using keto/low carb. They are customers of Fattyhead Keto Pizza Crusts thus how I came to follow them too. Fattyhead is a small woman owned business from Kansas that makes & ships clean pizza crusts & other similar products made with her dough. She also supplies quite a few pizza parlors in her area with her crusts so they can offer keto pizzas to their customers. Lucky YOU if you live within her area! She’s an amazing person with amazing ideas! She partnered with Pitmasters LT to develop and help market this BBQ sauce. It’s GOOD. The cleanest & best that I’ve found. It’s what I exclusively use now. **Side Note: I also know and accept the fact that I WILL NOT make it from scratch myself. I’d much prefer to take a walk than stand at the stove making bbq sauce but that’s me! You do you and you’ll get no judgement from me about it. Just promise to post the recipe if you make a good one! 😉 Fattyhead & Pitmaster LT are both located in Kansas but fortunately they also ship their products directly and/or through Amazon. I added the links to both so if you have some time on your hands peruse through their sites/pages. I’ll be transparent in that I don’t even know how the price compares to regular choices in the grocery stores. I know I’ve tried several and never really found one that floated my boat. This one kept it afloat on a couple of levels so for that it was worth the cost! My mantra is this: I’m not necessarily looking for cheap. Cheap is what got me into the pickle I was in!
