Hi All! Thought I’d share. I’ve been a patient for quite some time (2021 I think) and this was the most successful year I’ve had. I lost 53lbs. Here are pictures one year apart today! What worked for me: 1) Extended fasting for 5-7 days a month 2) Eating low carb mostly and about 200cals below maintenance (BMR) when I was eating although some days were more of a deficit and some days less, I didn’t strictly track 3) Added in weight lifting 3x a week (with several weeks of breaks due to illness or vacations or injuries etc). I didn’t really do much else. Some pilates, occasional pickleball, some walking. I truly believe that extended fasting was the key for me as it completely reset my hunger and now I absolutely loathe being too full, I finally have that OFF switch. Salute to myself!
