Morning Check In: yesterday was interesting! I ate chilli for lunch, the same chilli I had eaten for dinner the night before. The only carb in that chilli is crushed tomatoes - no beans or other carbs. The dinner caused no blood sugar spike. Eating it for lunch, however, after fasting overnight, caused what is for me a HUGE spike! So interesting! I went for a walk when I saw what was happening and that helped, but blood sugar stayed volatile for the rest of the day. Physiology is so fascinating! Today two meals. It’s New Years Eve and we are probably going to eat dinner out….and that is incredibly unpredictable when it comes to blood sugar! I’ll go for a walk again today.
