Morning Check In: You know what stopped me from eating cr*p yesterday while feeling super sorry for myself with this cold? Knowing I was going to post my blood sugar reading this morning! Radical honesty helped me make a good decision. I’m still feeling crummy and slept poorly last night, but blood sugar is returning to a more normal baseline. Today it’s protein for lunch. Carbs below 30 for the day - I’m going to keep track today. No sugar/no flour, but there will be a sweet potato with dinner. I’m going to get out and do some yard work today to distract myself from feeling sorry for myself again today.
