My commitment to myself over the next week is to change nothing about my routine. I refuse to give into the notion that I have to feed myself sugar and ultra-processed foods in order to enjoy this holiday period. I will keep my usual keto meals locked---protein + fat keeps the cravings quieter than any willpower battle. Remind myself: the nostalgia is about the feeling and the memories, not the actual indulgence in sugar. I can still enjoy the season, the family and people, the lights, the music---none of that requires carbs which only feed my addiction. The post-workout endorphins will be my best ally through the next week into the New Year! I won't be "starting over" on January 1st. I'll just be cruising right into it with the same determination and commitment to my own health that I've had these past 22 weeks now! Cheers to all of the wonderful people in this community!
