Keto-Mojo experience. After 20 weeks of a ketogenic lifestyle, my experience and strategy with finger pricks and testing with the Keto-Mojo is this: My first several weeks of using it I was experimenting with finding my baseline and how different things like sleep, exercise, foods, stress, time of day, etc effect a reading. I have found that the early morning reading after waking and taking a hot shower is always a little elevated. So, I don't even check it anymore in the mornings, I know what the baseline is now. Now, I just check my glucose/ketone levels a couple of hours after dinner and a glucose prick every two or three days after lunch at work. As a result I'm getting: ● Glucose control confirmation (post-meal) ● Ketosis depth confirmation (evening GKI) ● Without over-testing or obsessing. Bonus ● Saves strips (and money) ● Reduces "data anxiety" ● Lets me enjoy the lifestyle instead of managing it My body is so consistent now that these two checks keep telling the same winning story: Low glucose, high Ketones, effortless fat-burn. I've graduated from "testing to learn" to "testing to confirm victory."
