Morning Check In: yesterday went well! I did a 21 hour fast, had a small “lunch” of mainly protein, then a delish dinner of brisket and asparagus followed by a home-made keto chocolate chip cookie. I am finding that the cookie does not “wake up the dragon” of sugar addiction because while it tastes “good,” it fails to give me the dopamine hit of pleasure I would get if that cookie were made with sugar and flour. It ties up the meal with a bow and then the kitchen is closed for the night. I’m going to do another 20 hour fast today, “dining in” on body fat in the early afternoon when I get hungry, then small protein-heavy lunch, then metabolically friendly dinner. Going to the gym this morning! Momentum!
