Want to highly recommend the Joe Rogan podcast with Jelly Roll on it. Its recent maybe 3 or 4 podcast ago and hit on alot of the points we discuss here like addiction, motivation, perseverance and the why of it all. I laughed with joy, and cried with understanding at what he went through. Ive maintained my 230 lb weight loss for about 3 years at this point going from 450 down to 199 now sitting comfortably at 220-225 at 6 foot. One of the things that got me right in the heart was how he said he didnt expect to live past 40 and just expected to die and hoped his kids would think highly of him and that he died because of obesity due to mental illness and that hit me hard because at 40 i had resigned myself to die in the near future and would just leave this all behind and not have to struggle anymore. Then my son saved me with his love and words. Now, havjng just celebrated my 45th birthday yesterday i can say i plan to live. A long life but a life well lived. I can run and swim and jump and take my shirt off and do all the things 5 years ago bryan would never thought of doing. Its do-able people. It can be done. I want to be celebrating my 60th in 15 years and still be hearing from all of you because you are still here as well, and living a life well lived.
