Morning Check In: yesterday went well! I had a long fast - 27 hours! It was great not having to deal with meals until dinner time, since I was really busy yesterday. Today I’m going to do another longer fast just for kicks: 23 hours. One meal. No sugar/no starch. I’m also going to go to the gym for the first time in several weeks! This morning I saw a post that essentially said (I’m paraphrasing here): When you treat your body as if it’s invincible all the way until the day it proves you wrong, for the rest of your life you will simply want to feel normal again. That really hit home. It is so easy to think “tomorrow. I’ll do better tomorrow.” Well, for me, TODAY is the day I will do better.
