At Thursday night weight class I wasn't paying close attention to the weight I picked to use. It was slightly heavier than my max to date. Wasn't able able to do as many reps but still worked. The instructor prefers we choose heavier and do less reps than breeze through reps with a lower weight. Was suprised Friday when I wasn't sore, thought maybe I should have pushed through a bit more. By Friday evening the tide had turned, I was definitely feeling it. On the weekend I usually don't do formal exercise. On Saturday while getting some vitamin D we raked up the leaves of 2 mature maples and one crab apple tree! Found myself engaging my core, that took pressure of the shoulders and back, that's a win! π Today we loaded a face cord of wood into the trailer then into the garage once home. Those arm muscles I've been working on for the last couple of years are coming in handy. πͺ Before finding this way of life and group those weekend chores would have been a lot harder and taken a lot out of me.
