Morning Check In: Metabolically friendly food yesterday, although I felt strong urges for sugar between lunch and dinner, and ate cut vegies instead to distract myself. While this isn’t much of a problem health-wise, I do wish the urges would stop! I suspect they will stop as long as I fail to follow them over and over and over again. I did feel proud that I did not follow them yesterday, plus I tracked all food I ate, including the vegies. Carbs went over (65) due to the vegies. Today two meals. Protein for lunch! Total carbs below 30. Track my food. Going to the gym today! I love this new food pyramid that just came out! Wouldn’t it be amazing if this were universally accepted???? The 89% of US adults who are now insulin resistant could reverse the condition!
