Morning Check In: yesterday went well! Metabolically friendly food all day and no urges for anything else. Going to the gym this morning. Two meals today, protein for lunch. Keeping lunch “boring,” meaning eating just one thing (protein) is working really well for me. If I’m still legit hungry, I’ll eat more protein. If I feel like I want “something else” then it’s not legit hunger, it’s an urge. The practice is helping me be more in touch with whether I am actually full. Dinner is the more interesting meal, and having a “hard stop” of no snacking after dinner is helpful too. No sugar/no starches today! Track food in Carb manager. Put on a new CGM.
