Friday musings. Since I switched to a low-carb way of eating almost 15 weeks ago, I stopped eating out and prepare food at home now. No more sugary, ultra-processed high carbohydrate junk foods. Just for the heck of it, I ran the numbers on what I'm spending on average per day, per week and per month. It comes out to about $250 per month, $300 per month tops. In return, I'm regaining my metabolic health, normalized by BP, I am slowly, but surely, lowering a decades long battle of an insulin resistance loop, which no doctor ever even told me about. The icing on top of the no carb cake is that I've lost 70lbs to date. I'm not there yet, but I'm heading true north on the metabolic compass! Have a great weekend,!
