Yesterday ALMOST went to hell in a handbasket…. Had some stress before dinner and noticed that my primitive brain wanted to abandon my dinner plans for food that would include some dopamine hits! What saved me is remembering that I had committed to writing down my food for the day. I sighed, and kept to the plan, and I’m so grateful today that I did! Today two meals. Simple protein for lunch. Dinner will be some kind of salmon loaf with leftover steelhead from last night. I used to make that, and I remember it contained a lot of bread crumbs. I will be finding a different recipe! I want to keep total carbs below 30. Going to the gym this morning!
