Friday, October 24 (Week 4) SUBJECT: Taking it to the Next Level: Mastering Low Carb (Week 4) During yesterday’s meeting, we talked about some more of the big picture reasons to undertake a fasting regimen. We also covered one of the most important parts of a fast: how and when to break it when you are ready to open up your eating window! Also critical? Getting the support if you need! There is no shame in needing help, an encouraging word or a little kick in the pants! All of these are readily available to you on both our Community Chat and the trigger food-free Fasting Message Board. Please continue to visit and post at both of those places frequently. You will always find lots of people, in various stages of their fasting practices and low carb journeys, who are there to support you, answer any questions and root you on. Homework this week: Try getting to a 4-hour eating window; stay busy to keep your mind off food. For those of you wanting to join our community challenge, we are going for OMAD /24 hour fasts daily. Plan your day; Be mindful of not overeating when breaking your fast; Revisit everything in the article Fasting: Get Started in 5 Simple Steps and the course: Keto & Intermittent Fasting. These articles are available to both premium and non-premium app members; If you are struggling with any of the eating windows, stick with what is working for you and then go for a small incremental increase: delay your meal for only 15-30 minutes more until you are ready to add another small amount of time. Do this for as long as you need to allow your body and mind to adjust to this new way of life.
