Feeling the feelings. Was triggered. Used the tools mentioned in this podcast. 1) named the feeling— “I feel sad and scared” 2) allowed it—“I feel sad and scared AND I am allowed to feel sad and scared AND I don’t need to fix it.” 3) calmed my nervous system—voo breathing. Repeat I did this. I feel much better. I did not self soothe with food. I got this.
