I need some help troubleshooting. I’ve gained 15lbs since December or January and don’t really understand why. I’ve also been stalled since September 2019 after a 50lb weight loss on keto. I’m mainly carnivore with occasional foray’s eating a veggie or strawberries. A typical day includes a coffee x2 with 1.5tbsp heavy cream, breakfast at 10am which can vary but is generally 1 lb ground beef Patties and 2x slices cheddar with a Zevia (sf soda). I drink 4c of water with LMNT electrolytes. Dinner is at 5pm and is typically another lb of beef with a Zevia followed by a decaf coffee with 1.5tbsp heavy cream. I’ve tried various iterations of low carb including the high protein, moderate fat, low carb version (a la Ted Naiman) and the current high fat version. The current high fat version makes me feel less good obsessed than the Ted Naiman version. As a side note: I’m a special education teacher who teaches behavior disabled students which can be quite stressful. In addition, I’ve just finished commuting 2 hours and a 100 miles daily for the first time since 1993 and will be working close to home beginning in the fall. I am also someone who has diagnosed ptsd from an abusive childhood. Additionally, I must take beta blockers for a genetic heart condition. I know there are a lot of variables. I want to be my healthiest and have another 50 lbs to lose, but I am at a loss and beginning to feel I will be like this forever, but I don’t want to be. Advice on how to kickstart the weight loss? (Full body pic for reference (and my unmade bed) along with a picture of my cute family for interest).
