How would you like your beef on beef? Yes 😝🤣🙌 The jerky chips are so good! Thin, light and crisp like a chip! Go to the butcher, I go to House of Meats, get beef rump roast, ask them to cut it as thin as they can. I ask for about 1.5-2lbs for the week! Price ranges anywhere from $18-28. It's my current food joy, and my consistent breakfasts 😍 12 hours, 160F in the dehydrator. That's it! You can season with salt or seasonings, I nom them plain. The fat just melts. It's so good I could cry! LOL Then for cheese carnivore sauce. Get a chunk of butter, maybe a little less than the thickness of your thumb. Microwave where it's just melted, stir in 2 egg yolks, that's it. It's absolutely delicious 😋 It tastes like cheese to me! Also posted last pic of body recomp (home is under construction, we just bought our 1st home, thank you Jesus - answered prayers, we looked for 6 years)! Began keto late August, Dr. Westman style (how I heard about Dr. Tro on his podcast) made the hop to carnivore when I didn't want veggies anymore. First pic was taken Sept 3rd! I lift in the gym 4x week and try to get a minimum of 10k steps in (doesn't always happen), I've been lifting consistently since Oct 2018 💜 About 2 weeks in without artificial sweeteners and barely any dairy, I just drink water, 1-2 cups of coffee, and plain sparkling carbonated water (no flavors). This isn't about perfectionism. Never ever thought I could give sugar free enhancers or treats up! But I struggle with IBS, and stubborn fat (I really have to work to get the fat off my body-- I was originally 240lbs back in 2020! Another time, another story 😝). So this has always been a common factor, and I read some studies where artificial sweeteners have been found to cause glucose intolerance, induce metabolic syndrome and associated with body weight gain. I'd be doing myself a disservice NOT to try and remove it from my diet. So far, the psychological effects are worth it to abstain - cravings aren't as strong and keeping dwindling down! Happy to be my own experiment and allow myself more time. Diet has consisted of beef, lots of butter, egg yolks, occasional pepperoni /full eggs, and once in a while heavy cream in my coffee or this past Saturday I just whipped a few tablespoons up for a treat. Aside from butter, ditching dairy (cheese, yogurt, milk) for the most part has helped me not overeat and my gut feels so much better!
