Much-needed personal perspective for me. This morning when I prayed, I thanked God for creating me, fearfully and wonderfully made. I acknowledged that He is good and that on the 6th day of creation, he saw what He had made and said, "It is very good."  In humility I thanked Him that I am His handiwork...all 37 trillion cells of me, and the 1 quadrillion to 10 quadrillion mitochondria powering my body and doing so much more.   I thanked Him that before I was in my mother's womb, He already knew me.  I prayed for my children and their offspring. I prayed for the healing of my nation.  Then I prayed the ultimate prayer, the prayer taught by the one who created all things, the Lord's Prayer. As a result, I experienced much peace and perspective in the midst of what appears to be at times a world spiraling into the abyss.
