So, this happened... I was today years old when I realized I’ve been absolutely obliterating myself in Zone 3 for the past three months - thinking I was cruising in Zone 2 the whole time. 🤦♀️ Did you hear that facepalm? In my defense, my app doesn’t use numbered zones - it labels them with mysterious names like it’s trying to be poetic or something. So yeah, I was basically sprinting through what I thought was supposed to be a comfy walk and was wondering why people had so low bpms the entire time... Still, it feels amazing to be able to do sports outside before the rain makes its comeback here. While I was out walking, and killing myself (insert another facepalm 🤦♀️), I had this wild thought: it has actually become natural to make time for exercise. Sometimes I even crave it. Is that a thing now? I used to be the reigning champion of excuse-making when it came to moving. Now I feel guilty for taking a rest day, which, I know is also important. Honestly, I never thought I’d get here... but wow, what a difference food and habits can make!
