Fair to say my Back is mostly Back 😆 I posted this a short time ago on my LionsFit4Life social media pages. They told me once you hit 60+ it’s all aches, naps, and elastic waistbands… 🤷‍♂️ Basically, you’re supposed to quietly coast downhill, complain about your joints, and give up on strength, energy, and fun. Well… I’ve gone rogue. 🚀 Instead of a rocking chair, I’ll take deadlifts. Instead of a “dad bod,” I’ll take muscle. Instead of slowing down, I’m speeding up. Aging isn’t a downhill slide unless you choose to sit in the sled. The truth? You can get leaner, fitter, and stronger at ANY age. The best upgrade might just come after the warranty expires. This was this morning's fasted workout. Then a re-fuel with bacon, eggs and an egg/almond flour homemade muffin with some additional protein coffee. All finished eating by 11a.m. today-until tomorrow. Most people panic at the thought of skipping a meal, but when you’ve trained your body to run on its own fuel (fat) instead of carbs-fasting becomes freedom. It’s not starvation, it’s repair. Autophagy is your body’s built-in reset button, clearing out the junk and making room for strength, health, and longevity. 😎💪🔥
