Well I still haven't gotten back on track, I've had a few set backs. Got new lab work done and it's devastating, but not surprising. Everything is out of whack and I won't be surprised if my doctor puts me back on some diabetes medications next week. That may be the wake-up call that I need. When I started this journey I had just started taking diabetes medications and I knew that wasn't something I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I'm not going to let this bring me down further, I'm going to use it to motivate me to do better. Started my day off with coffee and boiled eggs, which I've come to love. The daytime isn't my enemy, it's the nighttime snacking and weekend binges that's really throwing me off track!! I haven't been walking because of the heat which means I'm not getting enough exercise so I definitely need to work on that but for now I'm going to focus on food. I cleaned out my pantry and even made some ice cream with cottage cheese and unsweetened frozen berries. It was actually a lot better than I expected.
