July 6 Sunday Sitting on the front porch drinking coffee and listening to the morning sounds. ☕️☕️☕️ Road trip today to Albuquerque. About 4 hours away. To pick up grandkids and bring them back so they can go to camp. Day trip!! 🚙 B proffee L something along the way. Something like subway salad, Bunless burger. Something like that. Doable D. Probably a repeat of lunch Will listen to some podcasts or read a book along the way. I like the idea of making habits being the goal. Then the continuing of the habits lead to the outcome, which for me is better health and weight loss. It seems that we have been taught to see the weight loss as the goal and not so Much put on to the habits. That way did not help me so much. So now will try focusing on habits as the goal So for me, the habits include low carb/protein forward (I have that tendency to prediabetes and have the autoimmune illness); some sort of calming my nervous system (I have the tendency to depression/anxiety and using food to cope with emotional upsets); movement that I enjoy; my daily intention; gratitude. These sorts of things that are doable, sustainable, and enjoyable. Morning thoughts with Folger’s ☕️☕️
