June 21 Saturday Hi It's Saturday. We will be going to a company picnic today. Will go with Good, Better, Best (GBB). Like a bunless hot dog or bunless burger. Basically protein forward. Meeting some friends for coffee before I go to the the picnic--that is easy. I get a black coffee. Weight continues to scooch down. YAY. So for me: 1) Daily Mantra--I am becoming a person who does not use food to cope with emotions 2) Low carb, protein forward 3) Eat when physically hungry. Stop eating when not hungry (this is what I am working on. I want to keep eating--my brain says stuff like, "this is so good", "1 more bite won't hurt", "there's not enough to save, I'll just finish it". I talk back with my brain and remind it that I am not hungry.) And then STOP eating. 4) Eat slowly-Fork down between bites, chew thoroughly, sips of water between bites 5) Body scan throughout the day to see how my body is feeling B proffee L picnic. GBB, protein forward D spaghetti squash, meat sauce, parm L at the picnic. I made a Bunless cheeseburger salad-y sort of thing. Not bad.
