June 20 Friday Sipping my proffee ββ I am thinking of the many ways that I support myself in this lifelong journey of health. 1) Planning: @Amy Faith brought this up in one of her posts and she has been super successful. It helps to guard against decision fatigue. SO: ~~daily plan ~~I have things easily accessible. Salad stuff, canned meats (chicken, tuna, sardines), meats in the freezer that can be thawed, veggies that i like ~~ Restaurants--protein/veg. If going out to reastaurant I am not familiar with--look up menu online. 2) Having a plan to sit with urges and cravings ~~Body scans throughout the day ~~knowledge of what my triggers are so that i can change my habit loop ~~being willing to sit with the feeling/emotion/craving/urge and observe it ~~being willing to not give in to the craving/urge because I know it will get easier with practice 3) Proper mindset ~~adopt an attitude of look and learn when I make a mistake. Mistakes are supposed to happen, this is how I learn. Review and regret are counterproductive. Perfection is an illusion. ~~Listen to podcasts and read book that help with this ~~Count my wins. Every win is important. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. ~~Visulaizing future me. What do you all do to support yourself? I am interested. Thanks Pedi π»
