The Dunning-Kruger Effect pretty well sums up my metabolic health journey. It’s a cognitive bias where people with little knowledge or skill mistakenly believe they’re more competent than they are, because they don’t know enough to recognize their own gaps in understanding. --Beginners often feel overconfident because they don’t see the complexity of a subject. --As they learn more, confidence drops. They start to understand just how much there is to learn. --Experts regain confidence, but it’s now backed by deeper knowledge and experience. It’s yet another humbling reminder that true intelligence isn’t just about knowing. It’s about recognizing what you don’t know.
