This past Sunday I almost completed the Half Dome hike at Yosemite. I was thiiiiiis close to the top but got too scared about halfway up the cables behind us in this photo. You can see the cables better in the next picture. It was a grueling day. We started hiking at 6 AM and didn't finish until 9 PM-15 hours! 18 miles total when you include the hike from the parking lot to the trailhead. 4800 feet of elevation change and about 49,000 steps! I'm in disbelief that I was able to do this!
