Accountability post 11 days into May: - Still resistance training every morning prior to getting ready for work … loving Benny the Bench!!! Been tracking each set on lined paper, but going to design an Excel spreadsheet. Tried an app … just not for me. - Set a goal for May for *at least* 40 weighted squats (different variations to keep it fun) each resistance training day. So far, kicking arse! - Been averaging 12-15k steps each work day. Boss is in Greece for two weeks, so just two of us working the blood bank. After testing 5 different pairs of shoes on the concrete floor all day, definitely Brooks and New Balance are my favorites for this high-arch gal. This might be unpopular, but Hukas and Cloves kill my feet (what a waste of money). - Stelo and work — staying low at work (70-90), however … if I am having a stressful, long phlebotomy (usually fighting a valve), interesting to see stress spikes. It hurts my heart when the donor isn’t able to donate a complete unit. We don’t pay for donations and each of our donors really wants to donate a full unit. So, I definitely do my best to make it happen. - Green Up happened this week here in interior Alaska and it is always so amazing to see!! Buds and leaves appear in just three short days. Truly a beautiful sight! #grateful
