April 27. Sunday. Good morning. I am sipping my proffee--basically instant Folger's with creatine and 0 carb whey powder. I am going to make a pot roast for supper. Yay crock pot. The fam will have the potatoes and carrots. I will have a salad Yesterday we went to the greenhous and got some zuchinni (yellow ones--they are such a pretty color), tomatoes, eggplants, and jalapenos that are supposed to be not hot. My weight is scooching down. The strategies that seem to be working: 1) deep breaths before eating and slowing down while eating 2) listening to satiety cues--asking "Am I still hungry?" This works better for me than "Have I had enough?" 3) using methods to bring my nervous system to home base. I tend to get activated and be above home base—-anxious. Have a good one. 🌼
