Mar 28 Friday Grateful for 1) dollar tree stores —cheap place for sardines and mackerel 2) ability to have self compassion 3) family Today is family dinner. SIL makes a great lasagna. I am in charge of salad My plan: I am choosing to have the lasagna. I will eat slowly. Chew thoroughly, fork down, sips of water in between bites, focus on family, and the conversation. So: 1) I will have salad first, then the lasagna. I will have 1/2 of the serving of lasagna 2) I will pause and check in with my body. “have I had enough lasagna?” 3) if I am still hungry, I will have 1/2 of the remaining portion 4) repeat step 2 and 3 I got this. 🌻
