Hi. I’ve been incredibly busy but I am back on track, food wise. I never totally went off track but admit some days I was over the 30 grams of carbs and I haven’t been focused on weight loss, ketones — or my mental health. A good friend told me I need to get better at setting boundaries with my family members and she’s right. They belong to a lot of local organizations and keep volunteering my time for me. Somehow I need to find a way to gracefully decline. On the plus side, I gave up my morning coffee 3 days ago and replaced it with green tea. Happy to report I’m surviving quite well without my daily dose of heavy whipping cream. I’ve been really nervous about an eye examination I’m going to this morning. I’m pretty sure stress messes with glucose numbers so I’m not going to begin using the CGM I ordered from Toward Health until Sunday. And, I finally signed up for the annual plan so I’m committed!
