OMG I ate something I shouldn't have yesterday. It tasted good in the moment followed by 4 hours of misery as my glucose shot to 145. Students asked me what was wrong. I said I ate something I shouldn't have and this is what happens when you have to much sugar. I said this is why I encourage you to eat protein for breakfast especially on test days. They were amazed watching the whole process including recovery. I felt much better when my glucose fell back into the 120s. Never again will I eat that wonderful crack. Currently I'm 19 hours into a 24 fast to give my body a little break to recover.
