Dip is so easy to make and can add lots of protein and fresh vegetables to your diet. I usually start with a block of cream cheese and add either 1/4 to 1/2 cup of sour cream, yogurt, mayo, or whipped cottage cheese, then add the main event like green olives, dill pickles, chopped cucumber or whatever, a half cup of shredded cheese, and a wow factor of chopped herbs, horseradish, salsa, etc. Think pimento cheese, cucumber dill, salsa and cilantro, bacon horseradish, Parmesan ranch, or my favorite green olive with parsley or sour cream with dill pickle. Great on low carb bread or crackers as a spread or with veggie dippers. It’s also good as a topping for steamed cauliflower or broiled chicken.
