I was scrolling through my phone and saw this old pic 😳😳😳 (pls DO NOT SHARE anywhere!) Want to see where I started? Swipe ALL THE WAY right ➡️ SLOW PROGRESS IS STILL PROGRESS! At least that’s what I keep telling myself everyday 😬 Picture is from 2016, a year and a half after after having my daughter, suffering from severe PPD/psychosis, working as a CPA, hadn’t slept through the night (still didn’t until she was 5 🤬), living in literal misery. I weighed 269 on this day if my records are correct. My A1C was 5.5. I decided to quit my job in 2017 and move to part time work not in public accounting, less demanding work, no daily travel, less hours. I learned of keto/low carb/fasting in 2018 and lost some weight, down to 233 I believe! Only to gain much of it back when I got another more demanding second job in 2019. I decided to quit that second job after gaining weight and not feeling great and having no time for myself and I’ve been pretty strictly focused on my health and well-being since February 2020! The progress has been slow, but I weighed 233 recently with an A1C of 5.1 and as you can tell, lost about 15inches off my waist! Aside from injuries that I am rehabbing, I am feeling physically so much better, more able, stronger, and more confident in my lifestyle choices! Say it with me, “slow progress is still progress!” PS yes we need to renovate this bathroom 😬
