OMG, I can't believe I did it! For quite sometime I have been wanting to get someone at the small hospital I work at interested in Metabolic health. This week I had an impromptu conversation with the CEO that has started the ball rolling. Sent him some links to the SMHP, Dr. Kwadwo, Dr. Ovadia and Ben Bickman after that conversation. He stopped me on my way out today to tell me that he wants to get together to talk after he has had some time absorb the information. He seemed genuinely interested, liked that it is preventative, not reactive medicine. Part of our mission statement is to be a leader in rural healthcare, I mentioned that we could be a leader by tapping into metabolic health. I am so excited. Have a great weekend everyone.
