I had the opportunity to interview a board certified cardiologist who I share some disagreements with… 🤔 He estimated my 10-20 year risk of having a cardiac event at 90% He believes statin therapy could cut my risk by 40% and possibly to near zero if my LDL goes below 60mg/dl I completely disagree I look forward to sharing this interview with you all because it shows how different people come to different conclusions Our burden of evidence is different Our risk stratification approaches are different For this reason we reach different conclusions.
