Update: So I did a retest with a real lab the other day. The first one I did was a “test at home” then you send away for results in like a week or two… Hindsight… I’m not doing that anymore. This test my cholesterol total was still considered high… 248 but was lower than my first test. My Triglycerides & HDL are now normal but my LDL is still HIGH. Interesting that they also did a VLDL which was at 22 which I think is the big fluffy cholesterol that is a good thing. I’m thinking of adjusting my diet away from a lot of dairy/butter (I probably eat too much) and using more things like avocados and avocado oil in daily to help move that number. Also I seem pretty steady with the HDL over the past several years at 54… I am thinking this is my baseline…. Not sure if any of you have moved yours? Would love your thoughts.
